Money
What does it cost?
Foundation is $349 a month. Acquisition is $1,249 a month, plus at least $2,000 a month in ad spend, paid straight to Google. Enterprise starts at $2,499 a month for up to 2 markets, plus $750 for each market after that, with ad spend on top.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee on any plan. The monthly price covers building your website and setting everything up.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Every plan is month-to-month, and you can cancel with one email.
Do I have to move up from Foundation?
No. Foundation is a complete plan, not a teaser. Move to Acquisition only when you can take on more work and the numbers say ads will pay for themselves. If they won't, we will tell you.
What counts as a market?
A branch, a territory, a metro or a location. If you run your business in two places, that is two markets. Enterprise includes 2 markets, and each one after that is $750 a month.
Will you work with my competitors?
Not in your area. While you are a client, we never take on a competitor in your trade whose service area overlaps yours, on any plan.
Do you track which leads become jobs?
Acquisition and Enterprise include a simple lead tracker: a page on your own website where you mark each lead booked, won or lost, and note where it came from, including leads from Facebook ads. For Foundation it is an add-on, with its price published here before it is sold. It is never required for the guarantee.
How fast do you reply?
Within one business day on weekdays, and urgent messages the same business day. Most website edits are done the same business day, depending on their size. Everything runs by email and your dashboard, so there are no routine calls to sit through.
Why do you limit new clients?
So the work stays good. We take up to 10 Foundation, 4 Acquisition and 2 Enterprise new clients each month.
Getting Started
Do I really need a website for my business?
We think so, which is why every plan includes one, built, hosted and kept up to date. But a website nobody finds is a brochure, so every plan also includes the monthly work that gets it found.
Can I do local SEO myself?
Yes, you can. You will need to learn schema, the hidden code that tells Google what your business is and does, and to set up your website so changing a price is one edit instead of a dozen. You will also need to check that Google can actually read your pages.
How long does it take to build my website?
Your website goes live within 14 business days of getting everything from you: your questionnaire answers, your photos, your logo if you have one, and the logins we ask for. After checkout you answer our questionnaire about your business, and then we build.
Do I own my website, and what do I keep if I leave?
Your domain, your Google listing and your ad accounts are in your name from day one. If you leave, you get your website files free once your balance is clear, with a license that never runs out.
The Work
Is local SEO worth it?
It depends on your market: how many people nearby search for what you do, and how strong the competition is. Not sure? Our free website audit looks at both, in writing. If the opportunity is weak, we say so and suggest what would change it, like a wider area or more services, or we tell you we are not the right fit.
How long does local SEO take to work?
It depends on your history: how much web presence you already have. In our experience, it would be unusual not to see a real difference after 90 days, which is why the guarantee runs 90 days. That is not a promise of a ranking or a number of calls.
What do you actually do each month?
We look at what people in your area search for, then do what the data says is worth doing: new pages when there are real searches to win, better versions of the pages you have when that is the right move. There is no page quota. We keep your Google listing and your listings on Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp and trade directories accurate. And you get reasonable edits, about an hour a month, on top of all the SEO work we do on our own.
Will I show up in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers?
That is part of Foundation, and it is the same work. Google says its AI answers have "no additional requirements" beyond the basics that get you found in search. OpenAI says websites that block its search crawler are left out of ChatGPT's search answers, though they can still show up as links, so we make sure yours lets it in. Nobody can promise a mention in an AI answer, and we will not.
How will I know it's working?
You get a live dashboard, not a monthly PDF: searches, clicks, website visits, Google listing activity, form fills and call-button taps. It is updated at least once a week with the latest numbers Google has, which run two to three days behind. A tap on the call button is never counted as a sale.
Do you do social media?
We do not post on social media for you, on any plan. We focus on Google, because that is where someone with a leaking pipe looks, and where every search, click and call-button tap can be measured.
Do Google Ads work for contractors, or is SEO enough?
SEO gets you found by the people already searching in your area. Ads pay to put you in front of more of them, and they only make sense when three things are true: you can spend at least $2,000 a month on them, your average job is big enough for them to pay for themselves, and you can handle more work. If any of those is missing, Foundation is the better fit, and we will tell you so.
How much should I spend on Google Ads, and who does it go to?
At least $2,000 a month, paid by you straight to Google, so it never passes through us and is never marked up. How much more depends on your trade and your average job, and we work that out with you before any ad dollar is spent. Our fee is separate: $1,249 a month, flat through $5,000 a month in ad spend, then 10% of only the spend above that. So the smallest all-in month is $3,249.
What's the difference between Google Ads and Local Services Ads?
Local Services Ads are a separate Google program that only some trades qualify for. They carry Google's own badge, Google Verified, which replaced Google Guaranteed in October 2025. Acquisition includes Google Ads, plus Local Services Ads where your trade qualifies.
Are Facebook ads worth it for contractors?
We run them on Acquisition only when you supply usable creative: the photos or video the ads are built from. We do not shoot, edit or design ads ourselves. Our ads work is built on Google, because it reaches people who are already searching for what you do.
Other Options
Are Angi, HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack worth it?
Here is what is on the public record: an FTC order, proposed in January 2023 and made final in April 2023, requires HomeAdvisor "to pay up to $7.2 million for using a wide range of deceptive and misleading tactics in selling home improvement project leads." We do not sell leads. Your calls come from your own website and Google listing, straight to your phone, and nobody else gets them.
What's better than Angi or Thumbtack?
Building a way to get customers that your business owns: your own website and Google listing, found by the people already searching for what you do. Foundation is where that starts, at one published monthly price.
Is Nextdoor worth it for contractors?
You should have a free Nextdoor business profile. We do not run Nextdoor ads.
The Guarantee
Can you guarantee results?
Marketing should pay for itself, so that is what we guarantee. By day 90, a month of jobs from our leads should cover what that month costs you. If it doesn't, billing stops and we keep working until it does. After another 90 days, either of us can end the plan. We will not promise you a top spot on Google: Google's own rules for agencies bar guaranteeing top placement.
How long before it pays for itself?
We give it 90 days, counted from when we can do the work: the day your website is live and we have every login we need, or the day your ads start spending. By then, the booked jobs from our leads in a month should bring in more than that month costs you, ad spend included. We check the third month, not the three months added up. To use the guarantee, tell us in writing and show us those jobs, with invoices or a job list.
